• Setup
  • • Place the board vertically between the players so that the lettered lines run from one player to the other.
    • Determine a start player and that player takes the white rings.
    • Create a supply of the marker discs.
    • Take turns, starting with white, placing your 5 rings on the board.
      • These can be placed on any intersection, including the board edge.
• Gameplay

  • The game is played back and forth in turns until 1 player has gotten 3 rows of 5 markers (and has removed 3 rings).

    Taking a Turn

    1. Move 1 of your rings, placing a marker in it with your color face up 1st.
       • Leave the marker on the space.
       • Your ring must move in a straight line from its starting point.
       • The ring can move over 1 or more vacant spaces.
         • If you only move over empty spaces, that is your turn.
       • The ring can move over any number of markers (color doesn't matter), but the ring must be placed on the 1st vacant space on the other side of the markers you jumped.
         • All markers you jumped over are flipped to their opposite side.
         • Do not flip the marker you placed before moving the ring.
       • The above 2 bullets can be combined such that you can move over vacant spaces before jumping markers.
       • The ring cannot jump over any rings.
    2. If you create a row (line) of 5 markers of the same color, remove them from the board to the supply.
       • Remove 1 of your rings (can be any of your rings) and place it on your side of the board as a counter for the number of rows you've completed.
       • If more than 1 row is completed on the same turn, count both of them and remove multiple rings.
         • If they intersect, choose which row will be scored.
       • If you form a complete row for your opponent, they must score it and remove the markers and a ring.
       • If you form a row for you and your opponent, score yours 1st.
• End of the Game
  • • The game ends as soon as a player has removed 3 rings. That player wins.
    • If your move forms both your 3rd row and your opponent's 3rd row, you win because you remove your ring first.
    • If all 51 markers are placed before anyone wins, the player who removed the most rings wins. If tied, the game is a draw.
• Blitz Version
  • • Play exactly as normal, but the goal is to form only 1 row.
    • The first player to line up 5 markers of their color wins.
